The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property by monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to security incidents
Key Responsibilities:
1. Security Monitoring
- Patrol the premises regularly to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
- Check doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are properly secured.
2. Access Control
- Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
- Verify identification and maintain visitor logs.
- Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
3. Incident Response
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activities.
- Report security breaches, theft, vandalism, or safety hazards.
- Coordinate with management or law enforcement when necessary.
4. Customer Service & Assistance
- Provide directions and assistance to visitors and staff.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Record daily security activities and incidents in logbooks.
- Prepare reports for unusual incidents or security concerns.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security services is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and surveillance systems.

- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies.
- Physical fitness and ability to patrol for long periods.
