Summary

  • We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a busy community pharmacy.
  • The ideal candidate will assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications.
  • Receive and process prescriptions accurately.
  • Provide basic information to patients on medication usage as directed by the pharmacist.
  • Manage stock, including receiving, shelving, and monitoring expiry dates.
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
  • Assist customers with over-the-counter (OTC) medications and health products.
  • Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean and organized.
  • Support daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician course from a recognized institution.
  • Registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) is an advantage.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in a community pharmacy preferred.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer knowledge.

 

Salary
N150,000 monthly.
