Summary
- We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a busy community pharmacy.
- The ideal candidate will assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Receive and process prescriptions accurately.
- Provide basic information to patients on medication usage as directed by the pharmacist.
- Manage stock, including receiving, shelving, and monitoring expiry dates.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Assist customers with over-the-counter (OTC) medications and health products.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean and organized.
- Support daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician course from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) is an advantage.
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a community pharmacy preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer knowledge.
Salary
N150,000 monthly.
