1. Assist the pharmacist in sales of over the counter drugs and attending to customer enquiries and complaints
2. Assist the pharmacist to fill prescription based on information and dosage provided by the doctor and instruct them on how and when to take the prescribed medicine
3. Ensure to receive and shelve supplies along with tag, labels and price per given instructions
4. Rotate stock and move older medication to front shelf used prior to expiration date and alert pharmacist manager of soon to expire product or out of stock
5. Document daily sales and compile every day statistics like number of patients, new prescription received, records of instore services
6. Make daily deposit of cash as determined by the pharmacy manager
7. Monitor inventory for expiry and out of stock on a weekly basis, and notify the pharmacy manager
8. Receive, process and document payment and sales.
9. Track and monitor out of stock book
10. Check Vital signs of patients like BP CHECK OR GLUCOSE CHECK
11. Ensure that the merchandise is neat, well arranged, and the shop floor clean and attractive to customers. Clean the pharmacy equipment, and shelves twice a week
Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician certification or relevant training
- Previous pharmacy experience is an advantage
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
