Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our pharmacy in the Shomolu–Yaba area. This role is strictly administrative and operational; candidates are not required to be pharmacists but must be capable of managing staff and ensuring smooth business operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure efficient workflow
  • Oversee daily operations including opening/closing procedures
  • Monitor stock levels, coordinate inventory, and prevent shortages
  • Ensure proper organization of products and store cleanliness
  • Handle customer service issues and ensure a positive client experience
  • Track sales and prepare basic daily/weekly reports
  • Enforce staff discipline, attendance, and productivity
  • Ensure compliance with operational guidelines (while working alongside licensed pharmacists where required)

 

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role (retail or pharmacy experience is an advantage)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control and sales tracking
  • Must be organized, proactive, and trustworthy
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • OND/HND/BSc in any discipline (preferred)
Important Note:
This role is non-clinical and does not involve dispensing medications. A licensed pharmacist will handle all professional pharmaceutical duties.
