Job Summary
The Partnerships Lead is responsible for developing, managing, and growing strategic relationships that enhance patient access, increase revenue, and expand the hospital’s service reach. This role focuses on building long-term collaborations with healthcare stakeholders, corporates, insurers, referral networks, and community organizations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership Strategy & Development
Develop and execute a partnership strategy aligned with the hospital’s growth objectives.
Identify and prioritize high-value partnership opportunities.
Build a strong pipeline of potential partners.
2. Relationship Management
Establish and maintain relationships with:
Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) and insurance providers
Corporate organizations (employee healthcare programs)
Referring doctors, clinics, and diagnostic centers
Government agencies, NGOs, and community groups
Serve as the primary point of contact for all partners.
3. Contracting & Negotiation
Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, pricing, and service terms.
Ensure all contracts are compliant with hospital policies and regulations.
Monitor contract performance and renewals.
4. Referral Network Development
Build and strengthen referral channels to drive patient inflow.
Engage physicians and external providers to increase referrals.
Track and optimize referral conversion rates.
5. Partner Performance Management
Monitor partner activity, utilization, and revenue contribution.
Identify opportunities to deepen engagement and improve outcomes.
Address issues and ensure partner satisfaction.
6. Collaboration with Internal Teams
Work closely with clinical, operations, finance, and marketing teams.
Ensure seamless service delivery for partner-referred patients.
Align partnership offerings with hospital capabilities.
7. Market Intelligence & Growth
Analyze market trends, competitor partnerships, and payer landscape.
Provide insights to inform pricing, service offerings, and expansion plans.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- MBA or equivalent is an advantage
- Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or account management
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or corporate engagement preferred
