Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Nursing Assistant to support daily operations in our pharmacy. The ideal candidate will assist with basic patient care, attend to customers, and support the pharmacist in non-clinical and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend to customers and assist with basic inquiries
- Support the pharmacist with non-dispensing tasks
- Take and record basic vital signs (where required)
- Assist with patient guidance on medication use as directed by the pharmacist
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the pharmacy
- Help manage stock, arrange shelves, and monitor product expiry dates
- Keep accurate records of patient interactions and services
- Ensure a friendly and professional customer experience
Requirements
Requirements:
- Certification or training as a Nursing Assistant or Health Care Assistant
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, clinic, or hospital is an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of healthcare practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be polite, attentive, and customer-focused
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
Important Note:
This role does not involve independent drug dispensing. All medication-related decisions and dispensing will be handled by a licensed pharmacist.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position
- Must reside in or around Shomolu–Yaba or be able to commute easily
