We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our community pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will support the pharmacist in delivering basic healthcare services, assisting customers, and ensuring smooth day-to-day pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with basic health inquiries and direct them to the pharmacist when necessary.
- Support the pharmacist in providing basic healthcare services (e.g., blood pressure checks, weight checks).
- Help organize prescriptions and pharmacy records.
- Assist with stocking shelves and monitoring product expiry dates.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pharmacy environment.
- Provide support with over-the-counter (OTC) products and health supplies.
- Ensure proper customer service and patient confidentiality.
- Assist with general administrative tasks within the pharmacy.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE, OND, or a certificate in Healthcare Assistant/Nursing Assistant or related field.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, clinic, or healthcare setting is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of health products and medications is desirable.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly and professional attitude toward customers.
