The Field Marketer is responsible for mobilizing clients for the company’s daily thrift (Ajo) program and loan products. The role involves identifying potential customers, managing daily and weekly collections, maintaining accurate records, and building strong relationships with members in the target market.

Key Responsibilities


  • Client Acquisition:
    Source and register new customers for the daily thrift (Ajo) scheme and loan products.

  • Market Development:
    Conduct area mapping and market surveys to identify potential markets, traders, and groups for enrollment.

  • Daily / Weekly Collections:
    Collect thrift contributions from customers according to the agreed schedule and ensure prompt remittance.

  • Record Keeping:
    Maintain accurate records of members, contributions, and collections, ensuring proper reconciliation with office records.

  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Build strong relationships with traders, business owners, and market associations.

  • Product Education:
    Educate members on other available services such as loans and savings products.

  • Reporting:
    Provide daily or weekly reports on new clients, collections, and market activities.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum SSCE / OND / HND or equivalent.
  • Experience in field marketing, thrift collection, microfinance, or cooperative operations is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong numeracy and accountability for handling cash collections.
  • Ability to work independently in the field.
  • Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with local markets and traders is an added advantage.
  • 1–2 years experience in marketing, thrift (Ajo), microfinance, or cooperative services preferred.
