The Driver is responsible for safely transporting people, goods, or materials to designated locations while ensuring the vehicle is properly maintained and operated in compliance with traffic regulations. The role requires punctuality, responsibility, and good knowledge of local routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive staff, clients, or company goods to assigned destinations.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off as scheduled.
- Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the vehicle.
- Perform routine vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, etc.).
- Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary.
- Ensure all vehicle documents (license, insurance, registration) are valid and up to date.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE / High School Certificate.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of 2–3 years driving experience.
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain professionalism.
- Clean driving record is preferred.
