Job Overview

We are seeking a disciplined, detail-oriented, and self-managed part time Auditor/Accountant to strengthen financial oversight and retail audit operations. The successful candidate will have prior experience within a financial, audit, or accounting firm and demonstrate the ability to manage audit assignments without close supervision independently.

This role requires strong integrity, accountability, and analytical competence. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, internal control compliance, and operational transparency across retail outlets in the Eastern region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct periodic audits of retail outlets across the Eastern region
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, management accounts, and audit reports
  • Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements
  • Identify financial discrepancies, leakages, or compliance gaps
  • Monitor cash handling, inventory controls, and revenue reporting systems
  • Provide management with actionable financial insights
  • Maintain organized audit documentation and working papers
  • Ensure compliance with statutory financial regulations

 

Requirements

  • HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience in an audit/accounting firm
  • Strong discipline and commitment to responsibility
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
